Pais Textil is a small and diverse group united by one passion: weaving. They are inspired by the intense and ancient textile tradition of Peru; the one that was and the one that is still alive in the hands of thousands of men and women. By buying this piece you help a craftswoman to have a good job and a better quality of life for her family. All income earned by a woman goes directly to her home and guarantees food, health and education. You also contribute to the preservation of ancient textile techniques, such as the backstrap loom, which has been used in Peru for more than 3,000 years.
