The Super Strike NF5 Needlefish is a 5-1/4" lures. It is a very popular lure because of its quality and characteristics. It's a small slender profile that casts very well and attracts big fish especially when sand eels are present.

But don't be fooled! Needlefish prove effective in many situations. Don't be overwhelmed at first when looking at all of the different size/weight variations. More current, deeper water, windy conditions or a combination of all three call for larger, heavier sizes.

Super Strike Needlefish are great in fast moving water, where it can be fished anywhere in the water column. Adjust the casting angle (with relationship to the water movement) and retrieve speed to let the lure swim deeper or more shallow.

Control the needlefish lure by the retrieve speed. If you bounce bottom speed up a little bit. If you feel the lure is too high slow down. After these changes, if you feel it is too light or too heavy change size. 

• NNF5W is 5-1/4" 1oz lure with #1 treble hooks and a 230lb swivel
• NF5HW is the same lure but weights 1.7oz and has a 1/0 bellt treble hook and a 4/0 rear tail siwash

Special Conditions require a special lure... Punch through gale force winds, get down deep into the water column, put your lure where the fish are. Go heavy or don't go at all. Special RED color coded eyes are easy to indentify in your bag. Look for RED when going heavy!
